Making our communities more cycle friendly can help Australians fight climate change, address the obesity epidemic, reduce congestion and make our cities more liveable and of course help many people realize just how much fun riding a bike is.
The Australian Cycling Promotion Fund Foundation (ACPF) is committed to promoting and encouraging cycling and advocating for policies and investments to make cycling accessible, safe and convenient.
Established in 2000 by the Australian Bicycle Industry, the CPF was created to enable the industry play a role in building a better future not only for the industry itself, but also for Australian communities by contributing to making the choice to ride a bike easier, more attractive and safer.
Our objectives are achieved by raising awareness of the multiple benefits of cycling for individuals, communities, businesses and Government and advocating for policies and investments to create more cycle friendly communities.
The CPF is funded by membership contributions from bicycle industry companies. Membership contributions are voluntary and they reflect the commitment and vision of leading Australian wholesalers and distributors of bicycles.
